Taylor Ann Green Took Her Breakup Drama to Sea—and Her ‘Below Deck’ Host Says Gaston Rojas Gave Nothing Away

On the first charter of ‘Below Deck’ Season 13, the ‘Southern Charm’ exes looked like easy guests. Then the relationship imploded, and Bravo’s crossover suddenly got a lot more interesting.

Bravo loves a crossover, but it especially loves one that arrives with a delayed fuse. Taylor Ann Green and Gaston Rojas boarded Below Deck Season 13 as a couple, smiled through a luxury charter in Phuket, Thailand, and apparently gave the crew no reason to suspect that their relationship would later detonate. Months later, the yacht footage lands with a very different energy: less “fun vacation with friends,” more “watch closely, because the timeline is about to get complicated.”

Rainbeau de Roos, the second stew returning for her second season on Below Deck, told Page Six’s Virtual Reali-Tea that Green was “so sweet, so nice [and] so warm and welcoming.” The whole group, she said, was “so much fun, so colorful, so light”—which is exactly what a charter crew wants when guests are arriving on a boat, ordering drinks and expecting five-star service rather than emotional archaeology.

De Roos also made clear that this was not some frictionless fantasy charter. “The service was definitely not to the standards that I love to set,” she said, though everyone got through it “with no major problems.” In other words: there may have been yacht chaos, but there was no relationship crisis visibly breaking through the linen napkins.

The charter looked easy. The timing was not.

Green and Rojas joined primary charter guests Kenny Haisfield, founder of resort-wear brand Kenny Flowers, and his wife, Christina Haisfield, aboard Azul V. Green was already a familiar Bravo face by then, having entered Southern Charm in Season 7 as Shep Rose’s girlfriend. She and Rose split in 2022 after two years together, but Green stayed on the show for two more seasons before announcing her departure after Season 10.

Rojas came next. Green began dating him in September 2023 after they met through their mutual friend TJ Dinch, who appears on Bravo’s Southern Hospitality. By the time they stepped onto the yacht, they had been together for nearly three years—or, at least, that was the public shape of the relationship before it changed.

Green and Rojas broke up in May 2026. Green later accused him of cheating, an allegation Rojas has vehemently denied. On the Viall Files podcast in June, Green described the split as a shock because loyalty had been such a central theme in their relationship. “It feels like anytime my ex had the chance to bring up loyalty, respect, trust, honesty, that was what he drilled into our relationship,” she said.

That statement gives the Below Deck scenes an unavoidable second layer. A couple can look perfectly polished on a charter and still be standing inside a story that has not happened publicly yet. Bravo’s favorite genre is hindsight, preferably served beside a fruit platter.

Rainbeau de Roos saw a vacation, not a warning sign

De Roos said she did not know about Green and Rojas’ “unfortunate situation” while filming and did not notice any red flags from him during the charter. She also offered the most yacht-specific explanation imaginable: the crew was focused on the job.

“I didn’t necessarily sense anything during the charter, but we’re on charter, so we’re so focused on the job,” de Roos told Page Six. “As long as they have a drink in the hand and a smile on their face and they’re not screaming at us, that’s really all we can ask for.”

It is a line that neatly captures the strange morality of reality television. In a normal vacation setting, a couple’s tension might be the thing everyone notices. On a yacht, the crew is tracking cocktail preferences, dinner timing, towels, excursions and whether someone has started screaming before the main course. If two people are smiling and behaving, the service team has a different kind of truth to attend to.

That does not mean the show is hiding a secret confrontation. De Roos is not hinting that she witnessed anything explosive, and she specifically said she did not sense red flags. The more compelling detail is the absence of drama: Green and Rojas apparently passed as a pleasant, functional couple while the cameras captured a chapter viewers can now watch with knowledge of how the relationship ended.

And then there is Shep, waiting in the trailer

Green’s Bravo story may not be finished just because her relationship with Rojas is. She has been spotted in the trailer for Season 12 of Southern Charm, including a scene in which she catches up with Rose. The preview does not establish what that conversation means, but the timing is enough to make the Bravo universe start humming.

Green is newly single, back in the orbit of the show that made her recognizable, and appearing on another Bravo franchise in footage filmed before her breakup became public. That is not a clean narrative; it is a Bravo narrative, which is better. The franchise has a remarkable ability to make old relationships look newly relevant simply by placing two people at the same event and letting the trailer do the eyebrow work.

Rose and Green’s history has already been televised, dissected and folded into the broader mythology of Southern Charm. Their split in 2022 was not the end of Green’s storyline, and her continued presence after the breakup helped establish her as more than a castmate’s girlfriend. Now, with Rojas out of the picture and Rose appearing again, viewers have a fresh set of questions—even if the show has not answered any of them yet.

The delicious part is that Below Deck offers no obvious warning label. Green is not introduced as the woman whose relationship will later collapse. Rojas is not edited into a cartoon villain based on the information that came afterward. They are simply charter guests trying to enjoy Thailand while a crew hustles around them. The drama arrives later, through context, which is often more powerful than a champagne-fueled argument in a hot tub.

For now, de Roos’ account leaves Green looking warm, gracious and easy to host—and the yacht footage poised to become a small time capsule of a relationship viewers now understand differently. Meanwhile, Southern Charm appears ready to bring Green back into the conversation, with Rose nearby and the door to a reality-TV comeback very much open.

On Bravo, a vacation is never just a vacation. Sometimes it is a charter. Sometimes it is a breakup prequel. And sometimes it is the calm, expensive-looking opening scene before everyone starts comparing notes.

Amber Portwood Has Been Secretly Dating Someone for Nearly a Year — and He’s Her “Anchor”

The Teen Mom original is keeping his name private, but she is offering a few tantalizing clues about the calm, Catholic-family man who is apparently very different from her.

Amber Portwood has apparently been in a relationship this whole time, which is either a soft launch or the most Amber Portwood way imaginable to announce a boyfriend: casually, philosophically and with just enough detail to send the Teen Mom cinematic universe into a group chat spiral.

During the Thursday, October 8 episode of her YouTube series, Portwood revealed that she has been dating someone since 2025 — nearly a year, by her telling — while declining to share his name. The mystery man is not being paraded across Instagram or introduced with a couple’s selfie. Instead, he arrived as a supporting character in a conversation about mental health, stability and the kind of partner who can help keep life from becoming a three-alarm emotional event.

“For me, my boyfriend, who I have been with for almost a year now, he’s my anchor,” Portwood said, according to Us Weekly. An anchor is a serious word. This is not “we’re hanging out” or “he’s cute.” This is relationship language with a weighted object attached.

The mystery boyfriend has a very specific vibe

Portwood’s description of her boyfriend is both revealing and highly curated. He is “very calm,” comes from “a very sweet Catholic family,” and, in her words, “they don’t cuss, they don’t do stuff like that.” He is also “very different than me in all ways,” which she framed not as a problem but as the entire point.

“It’s kinda like a positive needs a negative to get together and make it,” she mused.

It is an oddly charming portrait: the reality-TV veteran with a famously turbulent public history paired with a man from a wholesome, apparently profanity-free family. Somewhere, a casting director is taking notes. The setup has the clean opposites-attract geometry of a romantic comedy, except the heroine has spent nearly two decades having her relationships processed in front of cameras, producers and a very opinionated audience.

Portwood also offered a boundary that feels increasingly intentional: his name remains off-limits. She has been willing to discuss the relationship’s existence and what it means to her, but not the identifying details that would turn him into the next storyline. In the current celebrity ecosystem, that is practically an act of rebellion.

From “thick accent” to nearly a year together

This is not the first time Portwood has hinted at a new romance. In June 2025, she told followers during a TikTok Live that she had been dating a man for “over a month.” At the time, she called it a “good thing” and described him as “super sweet,” adding that he had a “thick accent.”

The timing creates a small but intriguing question: is that the same man now being described as her almost-year-long anchor, or did Portwood have two different romantic chapters running through the same stretch of her life? The answer is unclear, and she has not publicly connected the two descriptions. Either way, the relationship has clearly survived longer than the fleeting, blink-and-you-miss-it romances that tend to dominate reality-TV headlines.

Portwood’s latest comments also come after she stepped back from Teen Mom and spent time away from the public eye. She returned to social media in September with an update about her life and plans for a new podcast, presenting a version of herself less tethered to the MTV machine. The boyfriend reveal fits that new era: personal, controlled and delivered on her own platform rather than through a reunion special engineered for maximum emotional damage.

That does not mean the Teen Mom history disappears. It is, unfortunately for everyone involved, the connective tissue.

A new romance in the shadow of the old storylines

Portwood first became known to viewers on 16 and Pregnant in 2009, when she was dating Gary Shirley. The pair welcomed their daughter, Leah, in 2008, and their relationship became one of the defining storylines of the first season of Teen Mom. Viewers watched them navigate young parenthood, legal troubles, breakups and the uncomfortable process of growing up while the cameras kept rolling.

After her on-and-off relationship with Shirley — including an engagement that ended in 2011 — Portwood was engaged to Matt Baier from 2014 to 2017. She later met Andrew Glennon while filming Marriage Boot Camp; they welcomed son James in 2018 and split the following year. Most recently, she was briefly engaged to Gary Wayt from 2024 to 2025 before stepping away from reality television and public life.

That romantic timeline explains why a quiet boyfriend of nearly a year feels like more than a throwaway update. Portwood’s relationships have historically arrived with a full production apparatus: emotional conversations, family reactions, difficult departures and a season’s worth of audience commentary. This time, she is offering the headline without handing over the whole season.

There is also something notable in the way she talks about support. Portwood, who has been open about living with borderline personality disorder and bipolar disorder, advised listeners to make sure a partner is good for them and genuinely wants to be present. But she added a boundary of her own: “Never put it on them. Let them be kinda your anchor.”

That distinction matters. She is describing partnership as grounding, not as a substitute for doing the work herself. The boyfriend may be calm, sweet and sourced from a family that apparently does not swear, but Portwood is not presenting him as a magical cure. She is presenting him as someone who makes a difficult life feel more manageable.

For now, that is the entire reveal: a boyfriend, nearly a year, no name, a thick-accent possibility lingering in the background and a personality profile that sounds like it was assembled to make every former Teen Mom viewer ask the same question at once: who is this man?

Portwood may eventually decide to show him. Or she may keep the relationship tucked behind the curtain, where it can remain hers instead of becoming another public storyline. After years of having her love life treated like serialized television, privacy might be the most unexpected plot twist of all.

Jennifer Lopez and Keith Urban Had the Perfect Tabloid Setup. Then Country Music Entered the Chat

The former American Idol judges are being linked again, but the latest report says their reunion may be about a microphone, not a make-out session.

Jennifer Lopez and Keith Urban have the kind of celebrity chemistry that practically arrives prepackaged for a rumor cycle: two megawatt performers, one old television connection, two newly single lives and just enough professional possibility to make the internet start connecting dots with a glitter pen.

Now, according to a report cited by Reality Tea and originating with the Daily Mail, those dots may lead somewhere considerably less scandalous than a romance. The alleged conversation between Lopez and Urban is reportedly about music — specifically, the possibility of Lopez recording country songs with the Australian country star — rather than quietly becoming Hollywood’s newest odd couple.

Which is almost disappointing. Not because a collaboration would be boring, but because “Jennifer Lopez goes country with Keith Urban” is a very different kind of delicious from “J.Lo and Keith Urban are secretly dating.” One is a potentially smart career move. The other is the sort of pairing that makes group chats briefly abandon every other topic.

The rumor has been waiting since American Idol

Lopez and Urban first shared the American Idol judging panel in 2014, when their professional rapport became part of the show’s weekly rhythm. At the time, Lopez was dating dancer Casper Smart, while Urban was married to Nicole Kidman, making a romantic storyline a nonstarter in real life but an easy fantasy for viewers who enjoy reading chemistry into a reaction shot.

That old association appears to have resurfaced now that both stars have gone through major relationship changes. Lopez’s divorce from Ben Affleck was finalized in January 2025 after two years of marriage. Urban’s divorce from Kidman was finalized in January 2026, ending a long marriage that had been a fixture of celebrity culture for nearly two decades.

Put those facts beside a familiar friendship and a possible studio reunion, and suddenly the rumor machine has a full wardrobe, a lighting plan and a booking at a very expensive restaurant.

Apparently, Keith is not J.Lo’s type

The current report pushes back on the romance narrative. A source quoted by the Daily Mail said Lopez and Urban are “great friends” from their American Idol years, but added that Urban “isn’t her type.” The same source argued that Lopez’s frequent placement inside relationship rumors does not mean every famous man in her orbit is a potential boyfriend.

That is an unusually blunt way to deflate a celebrity pairing. It also has the strange effect of making the story more entertaining. “They are friends and he is not her type” is not exactly a denial wrapped in a bow; it is a little piece of tabloid anti-glamour, the romantic equivalent of someone announcing that the fantasy date has bad restaurant manners.

Neither Lopez nor Urban has publicly confirmed a romantic relationship, and the report does not establish that one exists. What it does offer is a professional possibility with enough star power to explain why their names are circling each other again.

J.Lo wants a country era?

Lopez has reportedly expressed interest in recording country music and described working with Urban as a “dream come true.” The source also says she has been “doing a Beyoncé” — meaning, in context, looking toward a genre-expanding move — and has been discussing with Urban how a few country songs might work.

Lopez is not exactly known for staying inside one musical lane. Her career has moved through pop, R&B, Latin music, dance and soundtrack territory, often with a visual identity strong enough to make every pivot feel like an event. A country collaboration would therefore be less random than it sounds at first glance. The question is not whether Lopez can create a dramatic new era; she has built an entire career on making reinvention look like a red-carpet entrance.

The question is whether the song would sound like a genuine crossover or like two enormous names standing beside a barn for the album artwork.

Urban, meanwhile, would bring obvious country credibility and a history of working comfortably across pop-facing formats. His American Idol connection with Lopez gives the idea a built-in narrative: former judging colleagues, now reunited in a studio, with one of them attempting a new genre. It is clean, marketable and just personal enough to invite speculation without requiring a secret relationship to sell it.

The timing is doing a lot of the flirting

Lopez has already spoken about being open to love again. During an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live, she said, “I’ll meet somebody somewhere one day if they’re good enough.” It is a very J.Lo sentiment: hopeful, polished and just vulnerable enough to become a headline.

Pair that line with Urban’s newly finalized divorce, Lopez’s post-Affleck chapter and their shared history, and the rumor practically writes its own fan fiction. But the more interesting story may be what happens when two people emerge from high-profile breakups at the same time and decide to work together. Celebrity culture is so committed to turning proximity into romance that a creative partnership can look suspiciously intimate before anyone has even booked a vocal session.

For now, the available story is less “new couple alert” and more “potentially very glossy collaboration.” Lopez may be interested in testing country music. Urban may be the person she is consulting. They may eventually make a song together, or the whole conversation may remain exactly that: a conversation.

Still, if the collaboration happens, expect the romance rumors to return the moment they stand within microphone distance of each other. If the song is good, people will call the chemistry undeniable. If the video includes a porch, a sunset or one meaningful glance across a piano, the internet may decide the duet has become a dating announcement without waiting for either singer to say a word.
